In all patriachies images pervade of women as victims, passive onlookers or receptacles.

In her courageous work Ann utilizes the very archetypes that define us turning and twisting them slowly and curiously, upside down and every which way.

With microscopic scrutiny and creative humour she transforms the chains that bind us cutting a path through the structures of our oppression.

There we meet a new plane one defined by us the WARRIOR WOMEN passionate fiery and always mobile, marching ever onwards .

It may be that it is in the march itself that we are at our most potent!!
